These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VINTRA Reports website and vehicle history report services (the "Service"). By accessing the Service or purchasing a report, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
VINTRA Reports provides instant, VIN-based vehicle information reports on a pay-per-report basis. Reports may include manufacturer specifications decoded from the vehicle's VIN, and — where available from our data providers — title history, junk/salvage records, insurance total-loss records, odometer readings, and related information. No subscription is required; each report is a separate, one-time purchase.
2. Accounts
You may check out as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current information when registering or purchasing.
3. Report Data and Accuracy
Reports are compiled from government sources (such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vPIC database for VIN decoding) and, where configured, licensed third-party data providers for title, salvage, insurance, and related history. We do not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of third-party records and cannot guarantee that a report contains every event in a vehicle's history — only what has been reported to our data sources at the time the report is generated. Reports are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
4. Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout and are due in full before a report is generated. Payments are processed by PCI-compliant third-party payment processors; we do not store your full card number. All sales are subject to our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access reports using VINs you do not have a legitimate reason to look up; resell, redistribute, or scrape report data in bulk; interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure; or misrepresent your identity when purchasing.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and compiled report formatting, is owned by VINTRA Reports and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Underlying vehicle history data may be licensed from third parties and remains their property. You may use a purchased report for your own personal or business reference; you may not resell or redistribute it as a standalone product.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VINTRA Reports and its data providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, a report, including decisions made about buying, selling, or financing a vehicle. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
